Jesse Itzler
Itzler Co-Founded Alphabet City records, which was later sold to SFX. He founded The 100 Mile Man Foundation that has raised over $3 Million Dollars to date for a variety of charitable causes.He also wrote the Emmy Award Winning I Love This Game song for the NBA. His first single Shake It reached the billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Jesse Itzler is an American entrepreneur and former rapper. Most recently the foundation hosted the City to the Sand 100 mile bike ride from NYC to the Hamptons.
Itzler obtained a major in justice, law, and society from [[American University In 2006 Itzler ran 100 miles non-stop for charity. The event raised over $1 million dollars for a variety of charites and inner city kids. In 2008, he married Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx undergarment company.
In 2001 he co-founded the company Marquis Jet, which leases private jets on a 25-hour basis. Itzler was born in Roslyn, New York, as son of an entrepreneur; his mother was president of the Roslyn board of education. In 1991 Itzler released his debut album, A 30 Footer in Your Face on the Delicious Vinyl label.
He also co-wrote songs for Tone Loc and numerous other artists. In 2009 they had a son, Lazer Blake Itzler. He remains Vice Chairman of Marquis Jet to date. .
At the age of 22 he wrote and sang the NY Knicks hit theme song Go NY Go and wrote songs for many sports teams.
