"Spare the Gospel and G&C and spoil the child"

The Chaplaincy and G&C (Guidance and Counseling) aspects of the school are as old as the school itself. Their integrative establishment synchronized with the establishment of the headship of the school on April 3rd, 1876.

A close look at the headmasters reveals that the clergy dominates the list. The Chaplaincy is accountable to the Methodist Synod as far as the religious and   moral upbringing of the students are concerned.

Below are some of the former chaplains of the school.

Rev. D. J . Boadu- The School Current Chaplain

Rt. Rev. Morrison (Now the Methodist Bishop of the Winneba Diocese.)

Rt. Rev. I.K. Quansah (Now the Methodist Bishop of  the Cape Coast Diocese)

Very Rev. Arko Boham (Now Lecturer at the Univ. of CapeCoast.)
